The 4-year course work enables students to work in architectural or building construction related jobs or continue toward an advanced degree in a related field. Students explore industry levels of mastery in AutoCAD, 3-D Modeling and printing, and Revit. Graduates find employment in related industries such as building engineering, construction, code enforcement, materials manufacturing, and residential design/build contracting.

Because of this, he noticed some of his closest friends didn’t have the same family structure he was blessed with and weren’t able to enjoy the same experiences. While he was supported by “the village” of family and individuals in the community, Kelce struggled in school and at times lacked the motivation to keep going. High schools can make a significant difference in helping students who are low-income and first-generation college students complete the FAFSA. The three schools share a cafeteria, small library, auditorium, gym and an outdoor turf-coated football/soccer field. Bronx Design and Construction Academy believes that access to technology is important to the teaching and learning of students. While considering the nature of our environment, in which we live in a time of COVID-19, we would like for students to use the same laptop in all classes, as needed. Earlier this year, the streaming giant signed for 171,000 square feet in Burbank — another major media hub — which was one of the largest leases in L.A. Netflix also occupies 700,000 square feet of office space with Hudson Pacific Properties, including at the ICON and EPIC buildings in Hollywood. Graduates will be equipped for advance entry into the competitive construction trades and post-secondary education programs. Not to be confused with a traditional vocational education program, our CTE programs teach the theory and science behind the trade and provides support with employment outside of school. Each program has been fitted to address the needs of 21st century employers as well as intellectually engage our students through complex coursework. VCP Village – KC, located at 89th and Troost in Kansas City, Missouri, is an innovative community of 49 tiny houses for Veterans experiencing homelessness. The homes range in size from 240 to 320 square feet, meet all local city code requirements, and connect to city utility services. Approximately 70% of the Village construction was performed by community volunteers. Many Veterans arrive at VCP Village with little more than the pain, uncertainty, and loneliness of life on the streets.
